The bungalow was spacious for a family.
I faced issues like mouldy bathrooms and unclean areas. The staff were obviously overworked, leading to poor service. The promised amenities were nonexistent.

The hotel was located very close to various other restaurants, the best beaches in the area and the sea shore. The room was well furnished and large with see view, free wi-fi, as example, at least for me. Its location near the airport was stunning and beautiful. Also, the venue was set at a short distance from Wakashio Shipyard.

Un cadre exceptionnel et une belle plage avec un service aux petits oignons du personnel tres agreable
La salle de bain un peu « vintage »

The beach access was very nice, great for fine ocean views right from the room.
The breakfast service was painfully slow, taking too long to serve with limited options.

Location: the hotel was right by the shoreline and the sea front with amazing coral reefs close by the shore for snorkelling. We had the comfort room which was neat and modern with "free wi-fi "...

The hotel is located directly on the beach. . This beach is awesome. The hotel complex is small but nice. Mega friendly staff. It's easy to get far by taxi. Close to the airport, but has absolutely no aircraft noise. Very seaworthy. :-)

We chose this small but nice accommodation because of its proximity to the airport and were very surprised. It is a small hotel in English style surrounded by various bungalows. At the beach (small) a pool is not necessary. The breakfast buffet was very good and so was the dinner in the evening (I could choose between two menus). The staff very friendly and discreet.

The location on the beach with a swimable section and of course the 15 min to the airport are great. It should also be pointed out that we wanted and got a bungalow in the beach row. The staff is very friendly.
Unfortunately the dinner was not good - we got diarrhoea. The car is parked on the street during the night and not on the property.

Charming, calming, captivating
I was totally smitten by the gorgeous beachfront that was just steps from my large and comfy room. The sound of the waves lulling me to sleep each night was pure magic! Plus, the restaurant's view while dining added a touch of romance to my meals.

Staying at Astroea Beach Hotel was quite a mixed bag for me. The location was unbeatable. I could just walk out and enjoy fine views of the ocean. The small reef right in front of the hotel was perfect for snorkeling. I saw beautiful fish just a few meters from the shore. The restaurant had an open design overlooking the sea. I encountered a few inconveniences . The room itself was cozy but could use some modernization. I expected more amenities for the price I paid. The food in the hotel was on the pricier side, and while it tasted good, I found the options somewhat limited, especially for dinner. A nearby restaurant, La Bamboo, provided more budget-friendly options just a 15-minute walk away. The hotel lacked a swimming pool, which might have added to the overall experience. I also noticed the grounds needed a bit more upkeep. Certain areas appeared neglected. It's a fantastic spot if you love the beach and proximity to marine life, but a little more attention to the facilities would elevate the experience significantly.

amazing beach access and nearby park attractions to explore
I loved how effortlessly I could stroll to beautiful beaches like Pointe D'esny and Mahebourg Waterfront, which allowed me to immerse myself in the gorgeous coastal views and vibrant local life. I also enjoyed the serenity of being near several parks which gave me plenty of options for lovely walks.

The bungalow was clean, and the cleaner was very kind. The view from the porch was nice, and there was decent space inside. But the room felt a bit outdated-like, it could really use some sprucing up. Plus, there were some ants around, a bit annoying. All in all, it was comfy enough for our stay, just could have been better.
